RESILIENCE Model Programs
Over 50 Foster Adoptee Artists Hired
At the height of pandemic, MoFundamentals began community education programs under our RESILIENCE model. Our model emphasizes hiring emergent foster-adoptee artist cohorts across 2 to 3 years, regardless of previous experience.
We continue to hire artists while aiming to pay:
-
$100/hr for work (dance films, performances, or documentary) and $20/hr for administrative time.
New Original Performance Works
We devise multidisciplinary performances that center the memories, stories, and voices of foster-adoptee generations. In an effort to kickstart or sustain the careers of our artists, we find opportunities for these works to either tour locally, virtually, or be developed into evening length works.
Annual Dance Festivals
Our 10 Year Dance Festival and Juchéti Uarháni (Our Dance) Festival connect emergent and established artists through performances, dance classes, battles, and more, all focused on celebrating intersections between foster-adoptee resilience and street dance culture.
